O Grammy Awards - Premiação mais importante da música mundial, foi transmitida pela CBS nesse domingo (13 de fevereiro). Premiação anual em que a National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences dos EUA elege os artistas que mais se destacaram com gravações musicais no ano. Esse ano a academia realizou a 53ª edição da cerimônia. Dentre os vários indicados Lady Antebellum foi o destaque vencendo com Melhor Álbum Country, Melhor Performance Country, Música do Ano e Gravação do Ano por "Need You Now".

Surpresa como Esperanza Spalding desbancar Justin Bieber, Mick Jagger com apresentação histórica e Barbra Streisand que foi aplaudida de pé, apresentações como Miranda Lambert, Muse, Lady Gaga, B.O.B com Bruno Mars e Janelle Monae, Katy Perry, Eminem com Rihanna entre outros marcaram a noite.
